Many thanks to The Euro Weekly News for giving a whole page to Maurice Boland and his team at REM and our volunteers who worked with them. It was a record-breaking appeal, both in donations pledged of 70,000 plus euros, and a whole week of radio time donated to the event.
Cudeca Cancer Care Hospice owes a great deal to Maurice. His devotion to our charity is outstanding which over the years has resulted in incredible financial rewards as well as awareness of the special care that our medical personnel and volunteers offer to patients. Also, thank you for your kind comments on your own page. Maurice deserves everything you have written. I am proud of him and the generous community who have made the construction and facilities of our centre possible. We are just coming to the end of our 15th Anniversary Year and to date we have cared for almost 5,000 patients, which makes everything very worthwhile.
